Additional service provider run will occur the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, departing Steilacoom at 9 a.m. and Ketron Island at 9:30 a.m.

Passengers departing Ketron Island must make a reservation a minimum of 60 minutes in advance by calling (253) 588-1950.

Semimonthly Fuel Runs

Fuel service runs occur on the first and third Monday of each month when the ferry transports gasoline and propane fuel tankers to and from Anderson Island to restock storage tanks at the Anderson Island General Store. This service is critical to ensure Anderson Island residents and visitors have access to fuel while they’re on the island.

Extreme low tides

Oversize and low vehicles may be restricted during times of extremely low tides – these are tides of zero feet and below. Vehicles with low-hanging parts (bumpers, hitches, etc.) and extended overhangs from the rear axle (such as recreational vehicles) may be denied access to the ferry during extreme low tides. View NOAA tidal information to plan your travel.
